Alocasia Xanthosoma Variegata ‘Mickey Mouse’

The large lobed leaves of the Alocasia Xanthosoma Variegata look like Mickey mouse which is why it has been given that nickname.

Alocasia can dry out a little in between waterings but should not be allowed to completely dry. They prefer a well draining soil but heavier on the peat moss to make sure there is enough moisture kept in the soil. They form small hazelnut like corms below the soil which will grow into more plants.
